OMNIVISION is a global leader in semiconductor manufacturing, offering solutions for sensing, analog, and touch and display applications. Since being founded in 1995, the company had not had a major revamp, and we were tasked with rebranding and redesinging the corporate site, from a new, futuristic logo and vibrant brand to a completely restructured website with parametric product search.
challenge
OMNIVISION came to Baunfire to help develop a new logo, brand identity, and website to mark them as leaders in the semiconductor industry. After making some strategic acquisitions and developing new product offerings, the OMNIVISION team realized they needed a way to differentiate their multiple business units while still maintaining a cohesive brand identity.
solution
We began by creating a new logo that features a clean, minimalist font and a 3D mark that reflect the high-tech nature of the company. To differentiate the business units, we assigned each a specific color from the palette, and designed an associated logo and graphics with that color as the main focus. The mesh gradients add a vibrancy and depth to the brand, and the unique website layouts create a sophisticated look and feel that sets OMNIVISION apart from its competition in the semiconductor space.
